I founded Red Rum Knives because I wanted to share my passion
for knife making with the world while providing high-quality handmade knives
that will perform consistently and reliably.

 I grew up in the heart of California, playing sports while camping, fishing, and learning everything I could about the outdoors. After a short stint in college, I joined the Army as an Airborne Infantryman and ended up in the 173rd. Once I got out, I started making knives again as a hobby. Partly because a lot of the knives I had acquired over the years didn’t last so I needed a knife I could count on. I worked diligently overtime and created a knife that I am proud to use and share with all of you.
